1) Are you a mature guild?

Many of us are in our thirties. While there is no hard minimum age requirement if you are under 18-20 you might feel more comfortable in a guild with people your own age.

2) Is there a minimum activity requirement?

Most of us have professional and family obligations that come first, and we completely understand if you haven't been on for a while. There are some limits though. Members need to be on at least once a week. That means a bit of play time each week, not just logging in and checking your mail. If you're going to be gone for a while or are taking an extended leave just drop us a line. We love to hear from you. If you were removed for inactivity and would like to rejoin send an officer a tell in game and we will invite you back.

Is there a level requirement?
While there is no strict level requirement, we expect that if you are not
level 70 you will be shortly. If you have a lvl 70 character in the guild you may have a twink or two. Twinks are exempt.

Is there a gear requirement?
We would like you to have 300 resilance or be willing to get there. There
is no hard requirement. Cunning and teamwork will often trump gear. We would rather have someone with poor gear that can contribute to the team than someone with excellent gear who just wants to run around and farm HKs or is otherwise selfish. That being said, gear is important, and running BGs with us will allow you to bank a large amount of honor quickly.

Do I need experience?
We value experiance, but above that is a willingness to learn and practice. You will find this similar to a sports team where we practice several nights a week.

Do you do raid instances?
We might as a lark in the future but there are no plans to organize any. If raid instances are your thing then you'll be happier in one of the many PvE guilds on this server.

Do you have signups?
We don't have signups. You need to make 4 out of 5 days to maintain rank and raid preference. Everyone else is on first come first served for open slots. If you are not in atavism don't expect to be guaranteed a spot. There are often slots open through the course of an evening and you can probably get in depending on staffing requirements. We don't want you to feel left out but unless you are currrently raiding 4 days a week don't expect to log on and be invited right away. You should be prepared to do a couple pugs or something else while a slot frees up.

Will you run me through an instance?
No. We may occasionally group for instances but our focus is on pvp. This is not a leveling guild. Because we are focused on pvp you'll have to find someone else run your character through SM, or get you keyed for kara. If you are serious about this guild you need to focus on getting to 70 so you can contribute to guild raids.

Can I have some gold?
Certainly not.

Do I need vent?
Yes, vent is required. I find it essential for coordination.

11) Can I borrow some gold for my mount?
If I may borrow a quote from hamlet.

Neither a borrower nor a lender be;
For loan oft loses both itself and friend,
And borrowing dulls the edge of husbandry.

If you are unfamiliar with the work I suggest you read it. It is
quite good and relevant even today.

13) What do the ranks mean?

Trial member:
This is a new member who is on a two week probationary period to see whether they are a good fit for the guild.

Member:
A full guild member in good standing.

Raider:
A member with a guaranteed raid spot. This is in recognition of the higher standard we hold them to in raiding and their fulfillment of a mandatory 75% raid attendance.

Officer:
A member with some administrative right and additional responsibilities including raid organization, raid leading, and recruitment.

Council:
A GM level member with full guild control. Responsibilities are over all guild direction and final arbitration.

What is the schedule?
4-8pm weekdays are organized raid times, possibly later on weekends if members desire it.

What is expected of me?
We expect you to show up at raiding time ready to do some killing, and follow the raid leaders directions to the best of your abilities.

I don't agree with this strategy we are using.
If you have a good idea please share it on the forums. If in the heat of battle you see that something needs to be done go do it. But don't argue with the leader during raid time. It will probably get you kicked from the raid. We value your opinion, but raid time isn't the place arguing with the raid leader. Post it on the forums and we will evaluate it.

General Pilosophy

We are not in BGs to farm HKs. We are there to win and stomp other teams.
I know that it can be boring to stand around guarding the flag but somebody has to do it and we make an effort to rotate people in and out. Keep in mind that if your gear is lacking you will probably be doing the guarding until that is remedied.

We don't like premadonas. You will be expected to contribute to the team
in your role. If you have trouble with authority or can't follow directions we don't need you. Its as simple as that. Acting as a team is essental to wining and everyone must do their part.
